Client Membership Terms & Conditions
Below are the terms and conditions governing your membership with Marsal Accountants.
- Membership entitles you to the service level outlined in your selected package.
- The scope of services is detailed in your Membership Summary.
- Upon approval, membership confirmation will be issued within 48 hours (excluding weekends/bank holidays). Services may commence from the date you submit your application.
- Your annual fee includes one retainer payment followed by 11 monthly instalments via standing order.
- Membership renewal requires an annual fee paid in 12 monthly instalments via standing order.
- You will receive notice of next year’s fee approximately one month before renewal.
- We are not responsible for any loss or damage incurred while providing the agreed services.
- No refund is available if services are not utilised during your active membership period.
- We reserve the right to amend these terms with one month’s notice sent to your registered trading address.
- Except as allowed in clause 9, these terms represent our full agreement and may only be altered with mutual written consent.
- You must notify us if your business turnover increases by more than 10% during your membership term.
- Service begins from the membership acceptance date. Existing financial matters can be addressed separately at an agreed fee.
- Membership may not be transferred or assigned without our prior written consent.
- These terms are governed by Scots law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
- “You” refers to the business named on your form; “We” are Marsal Accountants Ltd, inclusive of our auditing services.
- Tax guidance is restricted to UK legislation and practices.
- To cancel, one month’s written notice is required. The final fee covers the transition period or closure work for HMRC.
- By joining, you authorise Marsal Accountants to contact your previous provider for necessary financial documentation.
